Sensei Reshel has been practicing and teaching martial arts for over four decades. He has taught and lectured on martial arts instruction, women’s self defense and children’s safety at universities, high schools, businesses and other civic organizations. He is founder of The Elite Dojo and of a non-profit organization – Operation: KickStart, a program offering scholarships and grants to deserving students. He has also been featured on many local television and radio programs, and has competed throughout the Midwest, having many championships to his credit.
His personal philosophy is to create peace in ones life as much as possible. He believes that peace starts with the individual and extends to family, community and ultimately the world. He also realizes that we are human beings with emotions. Stress is part of the emotional structure, the key is how we channel this in a positive way. The Dojo gives us a format to purge our stress constructively. Then go into our world as positive, constructive, peaceful citizens.
“It is an absolute privilege to have so many skilled martial arts instructors on the staff of the Elite Dojo. They bring excellent quality to the diverse curriculum that we teach. From Instructors with degrees in child psychology, school counselors, nurses, doctors and a Pan-American Jui Jitsu champion, we have the Martial Arts covered.
Their Martial Arts expertise is only exceeded by the quality and conduct of their character.”
